There is no moon tonight. The stonework is still lit, though, dimly, by the multitude of stars overhead. There isn't even a single cloud to obstruct the view. Glorfindel was right, however - the wind is a bit sharp up on the palace's tower.

Don't tell anyone, but sometimes he finds it unbearably sad that soon this world, the one he knows is full of magic and wonder, will lose its luster and become workaday and ordinary. Better that someone else can see it before it changes entirely, and be remembered elsewhere.
